Personal caregiver follow-up
Caregivers may experience difficulties such as physical and emotional exhaustion, constant stress, managing difficult behaviors of the person being cared for, sleep disturbances, and a feeling of social isolation. They may also experience difficulty balancing their own personal needs with their caring responsibilities, often leading to neglect of their own health and wellbeing.
The burden of caring for a family member or patient with limited independence can be exhausting and isolating. I offer psychological support services for family caregivers who need support in this sometimes difficult role.
In addition, being trained in the “Montessori” method, person-centered approach, I also offer support to promote autonomy, self-efficacy and the mental well-being of people in vulnerable situations. Alongside psychological care for caregivers, it is possible to organize sessions centered around the person being cared for. This makes it possible to put in place strategies to overcome each person's difficulties, relieve the burden and improve the quality of life. Even with the most severe disabilities, these people are able to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
